No trip to Denver is complete without a visit to the Denver Zoo. With over 4,000 animals from 600 species, there is something for everyone to enjoy. We loved seeing the elephants, lions, and penguins up close, and the kids had a blast at the interactive exhibits.

The Denver Public Library is a fantastic resource for families. We were able to borrow books, movies, and even participate in fun events and storytimes. Plus, the building itself is absolutely gorgeous and worth a visit on its own.

Butterfly Pavilion
For a unique and memorable experience, we highly recommend visiting the Butterfly Pavilion. We loved walking through the tropical rainforest and seeing hundreds of beautiful butterflies up close. The kids also enjoyed learning about other insects and animals in the interactive exhibits.

Elitch Gardens Theme and Water Park
If you’re looking for thrills and excitement, Elitch Gardens is the place to be. With roller coasters, water rides, and plenty of other attractions, there is no shortage of fun here. We loved the variety of options for all ages and interests.

Downtown Aquarium
For an underwater adventure, the Downtown Aquarium is a must-visit. We were able to see a variety of fish, sharks, and other sea creatures in the massive tanks. Plus, there are plenty of interactive exhibits and even a restaurant inside the aquarium.

Denver Art Museum
For a more artistic experience, we recommend visiting the Denver Art Museum. With over 70,000 works of art, there is something for everyone to enjoy. We loved exploring the different collections and seeing the beautiful sculptures and paintings.

Colorado Railroad Museum
For a unique and educational experience, we recommend the Colorado Railroad Museum. We loved stepping back in time and seeing historic trains and artifacts. Plus, there are plenty of hands-on exhibits and even a train ride for visitors to enjoy.
